The Guardian Online has now accepted me as a paid freelancer based on my LowCarbonKid and other environmental journalism. Here's the first post. This pre-dates the web site spoof.

The Guardian seems to be the right place for you, Dave. It's full of people who have problems with reality and who provide such rich entertainment for others. Still, if it's the sort of ghetto you aspire to...
I'm glad to hear your have no problems, Fred, unlike everyone else, and that you find the Guardian entertaining. Personally I think it is full of whining, wheedling self-important people, but since they are willing to pay me that's fine. I don't mind who I write for frankly.
